Our Photographers
Holly Kuchera
Holly Kuchera wanted to be an artist when she grew up. She spent most of her formative years striving for that goal and eventually got a BA in Studio Art. In that final year of college she met Geoff, who turned her on to the wonders of photography. Today (many years later) she still dabbles in studio art, but her main focus and passion is wildlife photography. Geoff has also introduced her to “planes, trains and automobiles” as subjects which she enjoys photographing as long as they are somewhat old. Holly tries to find the quiet scenes which the average viewer might not notice and make them into something wonderful through her camera, Photoshop and subtle digital editing.
Geoff Kuchera
Geoff first found photography as a kid. For much of his childhood his parents had been taking him on regular trips out to New England, where he learned to appreciate the natural world.
Geoff is greatly influenced by Ansel Adams as well as some modern photographers such as Jim Brandenburg, Art Wolfe, Vincent Versace, Moose Peterson and Jeff Morgan. Starting out as a traditional film photographer and resisting the urge to move to digital until the technology had caught up. Now as a complete digital convert, he still shoots traditional imagery but has also embraced some of the more interesting techniques that the digital world has presented.
Geoff spends most of his time focusing on Drone Photography and has expanded beyond still images to work with video. But he also enjoys wildlife, travel and action photography. Anything that allows him to capture that special moment.
